Can anyone recommend a place to have my ceremony other than church and the reception hall. I am looking for something a little different from the norm. I am also getting married in December so it can not be outside.

I got married in the Riverhead Aquirium and loved it! You could also look into the Centerport Plantarium. Where is your reception being held??? That would help narrow down places.

I am getting married at the Woodbury CC. My cocktail party is starting at 8 pm. I would like to have my ceremony at another location only because I am no thrilled with having my ceremony in my reception room. What they do is like most places is they just rearrange the chairs and I really dont like that idea.

what about EAB plaza -it is really pretty at christmas time
or the historical chappel on jericho turnpike in woodbury - non denominational

EAB Plaza is gorgeous. Or have your ceremony at the place where your reception will be.
