Does anyone have any suggestions for music for the ceremony? We are getting married at Giorgios (hopefully outside) and I don't really want the DJ to play music for the ceremony, I would rather have a violin or something - but they are all so expensive. What did you girls use for your ceremony? I see that a lot of places have a 'strolling violin', does anyone have any experience with that - will that be loud enough though? Help?!

Re: Ceremony Music
How about a harpist? Some DJ's offer a keyboardist to play.

We are using Sterling Music ensembles, tehy are 600 for te hour, we are havinga flute tio, which is a flute, a cello and a violin. you could use two musicians and get them for 400, tehy are 200 per musician. They do a GREAT job!!!And they have been an absolute pleasure to work with so far!!!

Re: Ceremony Music
Hi Sassy,
I left a message for Janet King this morning.
I'm having my ceremony at the Swan Club and I'm thinking about having a harpist for our ceremony only.
Do you know what she charges for the ceremony?

Re: Ceremony Music
I am using Sterling also. The average rate for ceremony musicians seems to be around $200 per musician per hour, but you could probably shop around for a better price.

We had a flute, violin, cello trio and they were amazing. They did our ceremony and cocktails at flowerfield! We used Encore. They were just wonderful!
