I was perfectly content with having the church provide this but several people are telling me that I need to think of hiring someone else to provide the ceremony music because they don't think the music the church provides is nice. I really don't care if what they provide is nice enough, this is an added expense that I just don't want but can anyone provide me with some costing on this and who/what you hired? Please feel free to FM me if you don't want to post it. Thanks!

Re: Ceremony Music?
I have to pay the $180 for my church music, regardless of whether we use them. I am still NOT using them. I personally don't like the organ. But thats just me. I was at a wedding over the summer, where the church singer and organ was the ceremony music, and it was very nice, just not my style. I think I will use a single violin, and I will search out Craigs List and local colleges for a cheaper price. This is just one thing that is very important to me, other areas, not so much. Hope this helps, good luck!

Re: Ceremony Music?
I posted a thread a few days ago on an awesome violinist/cellist group that was very inexpensive. She quoted me $400 for 2 hours of playing. I'll bump the thread for you. Its titled 'Got an awesome quote for ceremony music'.

Re: Ceremony Music?
We are using Soul Revival, but we aren't getting married in a church, so we had to provide the music ourselves. I am FMing you the price we paid. But their website is www.soulrevivalband.com

Go to the church when there is another wedding. You can sit in the back and hear the music.
