Repost from 06 board.... I decided that I don't want the normal wedding march and all of that at the ceremony. Do you think it would be alright to have the instrumental version of a contemporary song even though the lyrics make the song not exactly the happiest song? I love the instrumental version, but I think only the younger people would know the actual lyrics to the song.... Decisions, decisions! lol
There have been other posts where the bride said they are planning on walking down the aisle to an instrumental version of something. Maybe you could do a search and see what some others are doing.
I have plenty of ideas for the ceremony music, it's just the thought of the bridal party walking down to a song that is not a happy song, which is what I am concerned about... Like I said though, I think really the younger people would know it, so I think I should be ok..... lol
