Ceremony music

I know this has been posted to death, but I can't find the song I want

Its the common - Here comes the bride one that is played in all the movies. What is the classical name for it and who is the composer?

Are you talking about Pachabels Canon in D?

Re: Ceremony music

I have a bunch of cd's at home, but they are not playing it on an organ, so I guess I do not recognise it. I will listen closely

If you are looking for 'Here Comes the Bride' (Dum Dum Dee Dum) it is also known as the 'The Wedding March' or 'The Bridal Chorus' and it is by Wagner from the opera 'Lohengren'.

Canon in D by Pachelbel (also known as the Theme From Ordinary People) is also commonly used for the wedding processional. It was used in the movie 'Father of the Bride' with Steve Martin. (The soundtrack for that movie has the song on it)

I hope this helps.
