Have any of you thought about what you're going to walk down the aisle to?
i was thinking for my bridal party: sea of love by cat powers and for me: everything by lifehouse (this might be a keeper)
i've already changed this once haha i can't make up my mind!! i definitely don't want traditional...anybody have any other nontraditional ideas?
another one that floated around was angel standing by-jewel for my bm's but FH didn't like it haha. and then for the bride: bittersweet symphony-the verve (we may use this for our reception entrance)
edit// oh and for walking back up the aisle either at last-etta james or signed, sealed, delivered i'm yours-stevie wonder.

Re: Ceremony Music
typical canon in D is my favorite... but they have a new one out now that has a little twist to it... very nice (im boring!)

i love canon in d too (i was an orchestra nerd in HS) but i'm on this kick right now of wanting to be a little different. I'll be the fourth out of all my cousins (big italian family) to get married and i want something a little different to stand out a little bit.

the 'aisle' at my RH is not that long at all so i dunno... someone posted the instrumental for beyonces dangerously in love and its jus tooo cute (i love non-traditional) but with my 'aisle' i'd have like 10 seconds of the song to be played

Haha See the last time I saw my RH, I thought the ceremony was gonna be in the place where I have seen all other ceremonies done... And its a pretty decently long aisle.... But then I looked at my contract and realized it was gonna be someplace else which I was even more thrilled about ... But then went to their showcase and actually looked at the area and the way i walk, it'll take me about 2 seconds to go down haha Also, not sure how they are gonna fit everyone in the space.. I would imagine most of the guests will make the creemony since its at the RH

BP: String Quartet version of Patience by Guns and Roses
Me: Canon in D - I know it is very common, but I love it.

Re: Ceremony Music
i think i like wedding march for when we walk out - but its kind of cheesy for some reason it reminds me of a happy ending in a disney movie or a fairytale or something along those lines so maybe that is why i like it.....i dont know if its still used these days - i dont usually care what people think but i dont want it to be really corny its so funny that we are doing so many untraditional things and a very untraditional ceremony except i like all these traditional ceremony songs! i myself sometimes! do you guys know what song im talking about?

Re: Ceremony Music
I asked FH if he wanted me to walk down the aisle to anything special and he said, 'I want to do the traditional 'Here comes the bride' you only get to hear it once, and i think it'll be nice.' so thats what its gonna be lol

Re: Ceremony Music
I havent seen too many brides walking down the aisle to canon in D...usually the bridal party walks down to Pachelbel's canon in D and the bride walks down to 'The Wedding March' by Wagner...
We are having the bridal party walk down to 'A Red Red Rose' by James Mulholland. Brad's cousin is going to sing it with a string quartet.
I will walk down to the typical Wagner Weddign march!
