Hey guys, I'm new to register but I've read so much helpful info. Now I need to ask for help. I don't want a pianist for my ceremony music (only the solo) as far as the prelude and processional and all that other stuff I was going to use a string quartet. The companies I checked were WAY too expensive..so I decided to use a harp. Lately I've been second guessing all my opinions and now I think a harp won't be enough music to fill the church. Help Me. I think I'm losing it. Should I stick with just the harp?? Should I do a different kind of quartet or trio...help!

Re: Ceremony Music
its totally up to you. I thought a harpist was expensive. I'm doing a keyboardist for my ceremony. It was only a a fe whundred bucks.i thought that was best for me, but everyone has their opinion. if you want a harpest go for it.

Re: Ceremony Music
I think a harp will sound beautiful and will be more than enough sound. I am using Katherine Saxton, she is a vendor on here and I think her prices are reasonable.

Re: Ceremony Music
I think the harp will be fine. The company I'm working with sent me a sample of a harp playing Canon in D and it's beautiful. If you want you can FM me your email and I'll send it to you

Re: Ceremony Music
I am sure they would both sound beautiful- I have always love harpists but I would say if it's going to be expensive then maybe stick with a keyboardist.
