Lets talk ceremony music. I'm having trouble picking my bridal party processional and the recessional song. What music selections are you using? We have a violinist playing at our ceremony. I need some inspiration......Thx in advance

Re: Ceremony music
I had a DJ but some of them may work with a violinist. For my bridal party processional I used the instrumental version of Louie Armstrong's - What a wonderful world. For myself I used At Last by Etta James. The recessional I did Everything by Michael Buble for me and the rest of the bridal party.

I used Only Time by Enya for my Bridal Party and she's got a way by Billy Joel for myself. Don't Stop Believing by Journey for the end...sounded great on a violin

How about a slow version of Philip Phillips' 'Home'. Love that song.

We're using a pianist. He's playing 'I can't help falling in love with you,' for the bridal party and a romantic version of the wedding march for me ( you can find it on YouTube if you search 'romantic wedding march.'). For the recessional we're using Michael Buble's 'Everything.'

Right now I think I'm doing 'Stolen' by Dashboard Confessional, but everything is subject to change lol.Is everyone doing a separate song for themselves and for their BP? I'll only have three couples walking down the aisle before me, and I'm not sure if a separate BP processional will be too short.

I also had a small bridal party (3 girls / guys)so I was going to have everyone walk down the aisle to the same song. Then the more I thought about it, I wanted my own song. I used at last by etta james and I felt the very start of that song is the most dramatic which would have been very suiting for my entrance so I had the bridal party walk in to the instrumental version of Louie Armstrongs 'What a wonderful world'. I was very happy I made the change to do 2 separate songs.

That's a good point. I just love that song so much. Maybe I can mix the Vitamin String Quartet version and have it fade into the real version with lyrics for the big crescendo at the end for my entrance. I'll just burn it and give it to the dj to play. Best of both worlds!
