Ceremony music

Did anyone have a harp or flute, or something different for their ceremony music?

I am getting married on the beach at sunset and we are having a tent with a DJ, but for the ceremony I want something very romantic to fit the scene. I was thinking of a harp.

Has anyone ever doen this or has any recommendations?

Thanks!

Chris

My sister had a harp...it was SO BEAUTIFUL!!!

I unfortunatly cannot recommend who she used...it was a family member of her husbands and she lives out of state.

I'm biased to the flute, since I play it, but try calling the music department at CW Post to check for a harp player. The Long Island Philharmonic resides there, and they may know of someone.

I am having somewhat of a Frank Sinatra 'impersonator'. This guy is awesome...my DJ showed me his work and FI and I thought he was spectacular. We're both fans of his music and since my Grandmother passed away I felt this could be my way of remembering her on my wedding day...she was his biggest fan!!!

But, on the other hand, I hope I haven't made a big mistake in hiring this guy...I really wanted a piano player but hired someone/something completely opposite.

We are having 2 flutes.
Make sure that you have some sort of microphone
I second Janet King. She is great and very sweet
She has a web site that plays some of her music
Good luck
