Ceremony music? Is anyone else having the DJ play the ceremony music?
Is this weird? To us it sounded okay, but now I am (not FI) re-thinking.
If yes, what music did you have the DJ play for the ceremony?

We are having DJ Glenn do the ceremony....it's so much easier and he can a hold of any music we want.

we haven't picked that out yet...but I know I want Canon in D....it brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it....Rich is very good with music and some libraries rent out CD's and have classical and even wedding CD's to listen to. Plus DJ Glenn had a list of ceremony music in the packet!!

We are having a harp only because I have always wanted a harpist. But I would feel confident with my dj to have acceptable music if we could not have fit the harp into our budget.

i am undecided right now. My dj is charging a 150 extra for ceremony and cocktail hour but i found a guy in here actaully and he is only charging 200 for both so we are meeting him next saturday at ther riviera when we go to make a payment and we might book him for $50.00 extra to have live music is not bad and much cheaper than i thought!

Yes, he will be doing our ceremony and cocktail hour, as well as the reception. He will mostly just play soft music, maybe some nice love songs, while people are being seated. We haven't decide yet what songs everyone else (BP, FH, me) will walk in or out with. But it will be nice to have the full music playing.

Yes, we are having the DJ do our ceremony and Cocktail hour.
FH and I have yet to decide on music, but I'm seriously considering 'Out of the Woods' by Nickel Creek as our processional.

I'm trying to decide if I should go with the DJ or find musicians. My DJ will do it, but I have a funny feeling about it....
