I got a quote for a trio to play at my wedding mass and their quote was 425...
Is this high or average?

That's a very good price! Just ask to hear a sample cd first. I have a good trip playing at my church for a little more than that. Their sample cd was AWESOME!! I can't WAIT!
Also... make sure they will play before the ceremony and after for that price. That may just be for an hour. If it goes over an hour, they may charge you extra. And if they have to WRITE any music, they may charge you more. Find out all this beforehand.
Is that price for a full mass or just a ceremony?

that's an excellent price. the cost for live musicians is $$$$$$. our pianist for our wedding cost $300 for being there for 1 hour.
