For the pre-ceremony music, I'm letting my friends who are performing as a string quartet make the selections since we trust their musical judgement.

you can pick it but if its in church it has to be religious

if you are just having a ceremony you should be set. You can pick the recessional song (when everyone walks out) but if you don't really care I'm sure the musicians can pick something.
