im set on the song that i will walk down to (canon in d)and what the girls will (air on the g string) but i never gave any thought to music that would be incorporated during the ceremony
our officiant said its not necessary but sometimes nice. (like i guess at parts like the unity candle/sand/wine ceremony or maybe giving of gifts in a catholic mass, etc.)
what are you guys doing?

I have a few ideas but I need to make sure my church is ok w/ them because they aren't traditional church songs...I just really like them.

We are having a ceremony. Bridal party will walk into Canon in D. I will walk into the traditional Bridal March. I would like to leave to Trumpet Voluntary. I think for the unity candle I love 'There Is Love'. Is there also a song played while people are being seated (before the bridal party walks in)? If that's the case, I think I'd like to use Ave Maria.
Do u have to have music for the unity candle part? We are just lighting it ourselves it will take 2 seconds.
We are only having music for the BP entrance, the brides entrance, and exit...

no you definately dont have to hae music, we might not have it for our wine ceremony either cuz itll be so short...ive heard music during ceremonies and it always sounds a little funny imho cuz its so short but who knows, maybe it could be done right
