Pardon the intrusion, but since so many of you have recently been married, I was wondering if you got married outside? If yes, what kind of ceremony music did you have? I'm planning a June 06 wedding at the East Wind, and would like to do strings, but am nervous that the sound will get lost outside. Also nervous that CH music will get lost. Any advice? TIA!!

My friend just got married at East Wind & I think since the cermony area is where it is the sound won't get lost at all. My friend didn't get married there but she did have her cocktail hour inside & outside. She had a steel drum band & they were set up right in the doorway before you walk outside. Both people inside & outside could hear it...it was great.

I am getting married at East Wind outside and we hired Janet King. She is a harpist and had worked there several times before. I'll let you know how it goes officially after July 23.

We were married outside, but decided to just use our DJ.
I would have loved strings, but it just worked out for us financially at the time. Looking back...it was a mistake.
