Ceremony Processional-Including my Mom

Hi all,
I need a little help. My Mom and I are very close and I would like to honor her during my ceremony procession. I thought about having her and my father walk me down the aisle, but I truly would like to give my Dad that gift that he has been dreaming about and I also would like to share that special moment with him. So, that idea is out.

Then, I was thinking maybe my brother could walk my Mom down the aisle right before me and my Dad walk down. This way, she will have a special moment and won't be seated with all the other guests. Do you think this is inappropriate? I also thought about having her stand at the alter to give me away with my father once we make it up the aisle. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I think both ideas are fine. Also one time at a wedding I went to they had the mother standing halfway or so down the aisle, dad walked you for the first half and then they both walked you the rest of the way to 'give you away' I thought it was nice :)

For my sisters wedding, my mother was walked down 1st with my FH, and then got to see the processional which included her daughters and granddaughter.
It might look strange if your mother walks down in the middle of the bridal party.
