Ceremony Program Question
I know there's no 'RULES' that you must follow but do you have to have programs for the ceremony or can you do without? Is everyone having programs or are there any brides here skipping them?

Ceremony Program Question
While I dont think they are entirely necessary I do think they are a nice touch. I like to read them and see who is in the bridal party in case I dont know everyone, and just see generally what the bride and groom have decided to include. We have programs and it gave us a place to thank our guests and our parents, as well as include a little tribute to grandparents who have passed.

This!!! If you have a small bp you can skip it. There is no rule. I decided to do them bc I was able to DIY for a relatively inexpensive price. HTH!

Re: Ceremony Program Question
I don't think it's necessary in every situation. They are a nice touch if do them, I always read the programs I just like to read who everyone is and in what order everything is happening, I don't know why I just always do lol
Personally in my situation I think I need them for other reasons - I am getting married at the RH but since my father passed away my mother will be walking me down the aisle. I wanted to put a poem or quote in the program about my father so people can read it, instead of me or my officiant saying something aloud and me being overly emotional and upset during my ceremony.
But if you don't have a special situation like mine where you might need the program to give an explanation for something, then there's no reason why you can't just skip them if you really wanted to.

Ceremony Program Question
Like the other ladies said, its not necessary in every situation. I am doing them because FH and I have lost all of our grandparents and want to put a tribute inside of it. We also want to thank our parents and guests as well. I am having trouble because I don't exactly know how to set it up so if anyone has a template or ideas on how it's supposed to be arranged I'd appreciate it!

Ceremony Program Question
I never saw them until I went to some more recent weddings. I want them, but don't want to spend a crazy amount of money, so we are going to DIY them.

Re: Ceremony Program Question
We were going to skip them but then I changed my mind as I felt they were a nice, personal touch for the church ceremony. It's completely up to you, if you feel you want them-you should, if you feel you could do without them-no one will be upset, I'm sure!
