Ceremony Programs

Is everyone doing these? Do you really need them? We're getting married in a church and just having the ceremony, not a full mass so I don't know if we need them.

I was thinking of doing them for the church, but now I am think that since we are only having a ceremony and not a mass, we may not actually need them. Plus by not doing them it will save some money...

i think it's a nice keepsake for your guests if they are sentimental. and if you think about it, they will give your guests something to look at during the ceremony so that they are not bored. jmo. i didn't mean that in a bad way, it's just that some people get restless when they have to sit for a while.

That's my thinking too. If I was having people do readings and bringing up the bread and the wine then maybe I would so I can mention everyone but just for a short ceremony I feel like we don't really need them. 30 minutes in and out lol

We're having a ceremony at the RH and I'm still doing them. I don't think you have to at all; I just LOVE projects & I really want to have a special place to honor FH's Grandmother and all of my Grandparents, since they are deceased.
