Ceremony start time

Ceremony start time

What time is ceremony? My wedding is on a Thursday and I figure some people will be coming from work. As of now, ceremony begins at 5pm. Is that too early? I was thinking of changing it to 6pm

My ceremony starts at 6:00pm at Leonard's on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I would push yours back to 6:00pm for a Thursday to make it a little easier for people that may not be able to get off of work.

I think 6 would be better.

I once went to a wedding on Coumbus Day and it started at 5. I remember it was one of those days that I would've made it on time if the LIRR cooperated, but it didn't so I missed cocktail hour! LOL

Mine starts at 3PM, but that's a Saturday. For a Thursday 6 sounds better than 5. That way you don't have to inconvenience people

I think pushing it back would be good. It all depends on what you like best. My cousin had her wedding on a thursday and i was in the BP. Her ceremony started at 3, and there was still tons of people at the church, so it's really up to what you prefer....

I think 6 would make it alot easier if you have alot of OOT.

If it's possible I would say go with 6:00.... then at least if people are coming straight from work they can most likely make it in time to see you get married!

mine starts at 4:30 pm and its a sunday...for thursday i say 6pm is best

My ceremony starts at 3:30pm but it is on a Sunday. The reception is from 7pm-12am.

Mine starts at 5 or 5:30...I might push it up to 5 so that we can get nice pics outside...I don't know when the sun starts to set this time of year.

I think it will be good if you change for 6, it will give your guests more time to get there and remember the rush hour traffic.
