I was wondering if anynoe knew of a nice non catholic church or small chapels that we could be married in. My FI has been married previously so we can not have a ceremony at thet church I grew up in, but we dont want to have it at the hall. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

If you are looking in Nassau county, there's the Interfaith Center at C.W. Post. FH and I went to look at it and it's very nice. You can decorate it to however you want to. The price is reasonable too (about $450). There's the Vanderbilt Mansion ( in Huntington), which is very nice too. I think the Old Westbury Garden can hold ceremonies as well but it's about $2000 for the cite fee. The Historical Chapel is kind of small but nice I heard but I've never seen it. Let me know if you need to numbers to these places since I called them already. You could also check out their websites. Good luck!!

The WOTY ceremony in 2005 was at the Historical Chapel in Woodbury.
It looked very nice from the pics!

There's a cute chapel on jericho tpke. in woodbury just past the fox hollow. I can't remember the name but it looks like a church from the outside.

Unfortunately no it is where the CH is held and a little lacking form pictures I've seen.
