Ceremony Time on invitation?

Ceremony Time on invitation?

I am doing the invitations and was wondering how many people put the actual start time of the ceremony or if they print on the invitation that it starts earlier.....for all the stragglers coming late.
Our ceremony is at the same place as the reception and we have a half hour for the ceremony. then the cocktail hour immediatly follows.

my ceremony starts at 3:30, and I'm putting 3 on the invites, doing the same 1/2 hour difference for the reception, I hate people showing up late...this way i force them to at least be on time!! (close family knows the real deal)

Same with me. We are putting 6pm down for a 6:30 reception. Med Manor said they will accomodate anyone who shows up early by serving chamapge/drinks.

We'll use invitation time of 6:00 for a ceremony that will start around 6:30. Until the ceremony, guests will be served champagne, wine, and such. Check to see if your hall does the same type of thing.

Our ceremony is at the same place too.
We put 7:00pm for a 7:30 ceremony start.

I put 3:30 in the invites, and plan to start the ceremony at 4.

Hey, my wedding is on the same day. I haven't even start looking at invitations yet, but yes, I am put down 7pm and my ceremony starts at 7:30. That is a great idea. But what about those people who get there extra early. Does your hall serve champagne. I'm not sure if the crest hollow would do that for me. I know they do during cocktail.

My ceremony is at 3:00pm and I'm writing halp past two...since you're at the CH, I would do a half hour earlier and then just write Reception immediately following ceremony.

Good luck!
