Im looking for a beautiful venue on long island for $12,000 & under for about 150 people or so. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

When do you want it??? It depends immensely on the day and the season. WInter months are cheapest and so are Thursday and Sundays.

Do a search for all inclusive halls, there are many that will include the entire wedding for $10k. Also there are a couple who dont include all but are right up your alley, it all depends on the month, day and time of day you choose to book.

Many of the Lessings locations are great - we're having ours at the Smithtown Landing Country Club - beautiful property (golf course/river) and newly remodeled, yummy food, many things included! FM me if you'd like more info!

Depending on how many people, We are under 12k for our hall, with around 100 people attending.
The best prices I got were from:
Fox Hollow Chateau La Mer Chateau Briand The Riviera Westbury Manor Jericho Terrace Swan Club Coral House
Each of these were under 70 per person, but it was for a January. The prices would be higher in October, but you may be able to get a hall for under 12k at those locations depending on day, time and how many people you want to have attending

I'm not sure where you want your wedding but I'm having my E-party next week at Caffe on the Green . You should call them! They have great prices and the food is sooooooo good!

I would look into getting married in the winter...summer months you are most likely out of luck...

Have you checked out Westbury Manor? We are having a smaller wedding but we were able to get a fairly good price for a Saturday day event. FM if you have any questions. Good luck!

If you want to get married in the summer you can probably swing it if you have a day reception or have it on an off night - Thursday, Sunday. If you ar enot set on summer the winter months would fit your budget best. Is the 12K including tax and grat. Most places *** on 20% and 8.65%. SO its like almost another 30% on top of the pp they quote you at. If your 12K is your budget for that then you are looking to pay about $60pp.

Just so you know, October is still 'peak' wedding season. However if you go for a Saturday or Sunday day wedding you'll probably be able to find something. Take a look at Fox Hollow and Westbury Manor.

i just looked today at Jericho Terrace, Leonard's of Great Neck and Westbury Manor. For a Friday night in June (2010) JT & Leonard's will fit your budget. 125-150 people.

I agree, but think you may do better in Nov, Oct is still prime time and may cost about $75 pp with the other expenses. Look into a Thur, Fri or sun afternoon.

im paying 64 pp on memorial day weekend ( saturday afternoon) i know during the winter the meadow club has a special for 55pp but even in prime wedding season you'll still get a great price-their food is great, they're very easy to talk to about things, they even give you a credit per table for centerpeices...fm me if you want info-i can give u package details
