chaeck out my cardbox **pics** FH made it with his Dad!
FH and his dad made it! I LOVE IT!!! it's on a lazy susan covered in fabric so it spins! They are redoing the lid to make the slit wider b/c certain cards dont fit in this one (i tried it out). But other than that it is perfect!

there is a fabric store in New Hyde Prk (not far from NHP Inn) on Jericho Tpke. The girl there was great, and she has the most adorable DOG! if that is too far, you can try Joanns fabric on Old Country Rd. near the mall.

yeah it was cute that they made it together...his dad dosnt show it much, but you could tel he was really excited that FH asked him to make it with him! It was a nice touch that they made it together!

It looks beautiful!!! I love the mattes you used.
Mine looks very similar (but I didn't use mattes) and what we did was to make two lids - one with a slit and one without. The one with the slit we used at the wedding. Then after the wedding, we took out the cards and put the solid lid on it. So now we have our cardbox in our living room and it looks SO pretty. Just an idea for you.
