chaeck out my cardbox **pics** FH made it with his Dad!
Original post by Ilovebriani
FH and his dad made it! I LOVE IT!!! it's on a lazy susan covered in fabric so it spins! They are redoing the lid to make the slit wider b/c certain cards dont fit in this one (i tried it out). But other than that it is perfect!

It looks beautiful!!! I love the mattes you used.
Mine looks very similar (but I didn't use mattes) and what we did was to make two lids - one with a slit and one without. The one with the slit we used at the wedding. Then after the wedding, we took out the cards and put the solid lid on it. So now we have our cardbox in our living room and it looks SO pretty. Just an idea for you.
great idea!! thanks

BEAUTIFUL!!! They did a great job!! where did u get your fabric?
there is a fabric store in New Hyde Prk (not far from NHP Inn) on Jericho Tpke. The girl there was great, and she has the most adorable DOG! if that is too far, you can try Joanns fabric on Old Country Rd. near the mall.
awww...that's awesome they have a dog in the shop! I'll prob go and check Joanne's b/c i work in Westbury. Where on Old Country Rd is it??
it's east of the mall...towards where Century 21 is. There is an exact address on their website. I never knew there was one there either till i checked the website, they have a lot of fabric there! we went there for ribbon! they have tons!
