Does anyone know how much they cost to rent???????

The price varies a lot! From my florist, they wanted between $8.50 and $11. At Paragon Designs, it was around $4 but I wasn't crazy about the selection. The Finishing Touch quoted me $7 which was for bengaline covers for Chevari chairs (the metal bamboo-looking chairs). I decided to go with them because I really liked the covers

That sounds like a lot of money! I really want them but, I am not sure I want to spend the extra money. I am going to ask my hall if they have any suggestions on where to get them from. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

We went to a store in Port Jefferson Station...I forget the name...I will find out. Basic chair covers and sash were $3.50 a piece.

If you want to upgrade fabrics/sash it is extra but there basic linen was nice too.

I am having a ivory damask linen w/ champagne satin sash and it was about $5.

My hall doesn't supply them but they recommend the finishing touch. I wonder if I could get them to pay for part of it ? I am getting my cake (it's supposed to be included) from somewhere else so maybe they can exchange cake for chair covers? I doubt it but I am going to try!

Do you know if they allow you to rent them and set them up yourself ? I have many family members who are willing to help out..it could cut the costs.

Yes, they allow you to do that. I think the price goes down to $3 per chair if you do it yourself. If you have a DOC, you can have her set it up for you, too!

I used the Finishing Touch.
The owner's name is MaryAnne. She was great to work with.
For 216 chairs we paid about $1,400.
This also included the bow on the chair.

Finishing touch quoted me $4.00 per chair (without set up) plus $1 per sash. It seems like a lot.....

We used Paragone Designs. They didn't have a huge assortment of colors but I got ivory chair covers with sash and I think it was around $5 a chair but don't quote me on that because I don't remember exactly.

I am using paragon. they beat everyone's cost. For setup & take down at my hall for 200 ivory chair covers it came out to $5.00 a chair.

Plus Jamila is great to work with!
