Anyone else getting chair covers that arent provided by their hall? I got a quote today for a chair cover w/ a sash for $6 per chair and just want to make sure that is not way off...

My hall is providing the chair covers. I dont know the cost of the sashes though.

Dont know what covers cost but Im renting chivari ballroom chairs and they are 7$ a chair.

at the time my RH didn't offer them so I booked
Donna from Tablewear.
She was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! She does everything tablewear, chair covers, napkins, chargers, sashes, etc.

My RH has them and I will be getting from them BUT I have just for heck of looked through ebay to see if I could find cheaper and I did (I would have to set up myself, so to me its worth it to get from RH = $4.50/ea)....Anyhow definately check out ebay...you'd be surprised what you can find and a lot are from actual stores or warehouses!

Do not do the chair covers, trust me the money you waste on chair covers could be used to something else. It is a total waste because your guests are there for 4 or 5 hours and guess what all they care about really is the food and music. I would not waste the money on chair covers at all its just an extra unnecessary wedding expense.

Well, I'm definitely getting chair covers, my post was more to get to an idea of what everyone else was paying for them. I think they absolutely make a difference and make the room feel much more elegant. I totally disagree that guests don't notice the difference as I have definitely noticed the difference in weddings I've gone to. I have the money in my budget for them I just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting a price that was totally over the average. Thanks for your opinion though.

$6 is what we would have had to pay... i agree that they do make a difference as far as the look of the room goes...

I dont have to pay for them. It is included by the WM! Its one of the extra touches that sold me on the RH!

what color chair covers do you need/? if you are ok with picking them up in brooklyn you can rent them for under 2 dollars a piece with sashed for less thn 1 dollar a piece the website is www.chaircoverrentals.us we used them for our e-party worked out great saved us a ton.
