Chamagne question (re post from BHB)

I want to do mini chamagne bottles as favors and the prices are great from www.speicalty-wines.com BUT has anyone actually ever used them?

And the 2nd question is: How long does chamagne last? Can I order the bottles really early?

Thanks.
