Champagne

What champagne are you ladies using?

To me champagne is very important… Specialy since we are not having hard liquer, only champagne, wine and beer.
Also, I’m the one who will supply champagne for CH and reception

Not what many people like champagne. So I decided that I propably will go with Italian sparkling wine on the sweeter side. Usually light and sweet sparkling wine goes well for everyone, even for people who don’t like wine.
So here are my choices.
1st is the asti
2nd is moscato spimante that I would like to be served with desert to complement the cake. I live this one since its called Vine of Love…

Let me know what you ladies think

I'll be honest. I think Asti is waayyyy to sweet to serve with dinner. If you are thinking of sparkling wine how about prosecco? It's a bit drier and goes better with food. Save the sweet stuff for dessert.

Yes Asti is very sweet but it is very good. I would definitely go for a dry champagne for dinner

I was going to suggest Prosecco as well.

I also recommend prosecco, and it can be VERY affordable.

Re: Champagne

I would recommend Freixenet for an affordable sparkling wine. I think Asti is WAY too sweet to serve all night. Champagne is literally my favorite drink!!!

Bottle Buy in Glen Head sells Freixenet by the case, and it also comes in Magnums which can be more cost effective for a wedding. Good luck!!!!!!!
