I always thought I'd go with wine colored dresses but now I saw a dress in champagne and I love it. Do you think champagne colored dresses get washed out in pics? And do think that it's the sort of color that doesn't look good on everyone and lastly, I wanted to go with fall color bouquets. What color should the bouquets be? Please post pics if you have any. TIA!!

I love that color and wanted to have it for my wedding, but I definitely think it's the kind of color that doesn't look good on everyone. I also think it tends to get washed out in pics.

jessica simpson did champagne and i thought it was very nice on her girls and some of them were very fair. it looked elegant. have them try the color on and see if you like it!

I had champagne bms gowns w/fall flowers and LOVED it! the 2nd is a professional pic.
I wore a champagne dress for a fall wedding this year
the pics looked great

I originally was going to do champagne BM dresses. The dress I found was this color. I loved it. I had 8 girls in the wedding 4 looked really good in the color. The other 4 not so good. So I changed it to wine. Which looked good on everyone. My grandma wore the champagne color and in the photos she doesnt looked washed out.
I think Champagne is so elegant. Everyone always says people get washed out (they even told me this at the bridal salon) but whenever I see someone's pics of it, I always think it looks classy and elegant!
You could always break it up with something like this from Bill Levkoff
I was in a June wedding and we wore euro champagne by Bill Levkoff, with a white ribbon belt. The dresses were very simple, but pretty. (sorry, no pics!) Being that it was summer, most of us were tan, which looked nice. Our bo-ks were white. Me, personally, I wouldn't pick champagne, I thought it was too close to white when I saw the pics. But since you want to get a really bright bo-k, that would look awsome b/c the flowers will pop off the champagne! I love orange and yellow flowers, but I think pink or even red would look really nice too! HTH!

We did champagne, and it came out great in pics. The BM bouquets were red and champagne roses. Pic of the bouquet below:
I had champagne BM dresses and I definitely believe that color doesn't look good on everyone, which is why my MOH is in black. Unfortunately we're both in a wedding this summer and the bride chose this color so I hope it works for us since we're both pale.
The first pic was scanned from a print and the second was digital, which is why the colors look different.

I personally like champagne, but I was afraid that it would look too similar to white cause the sun would reflect on the dresses. So I got bill levkoff style 704 with champagne top and taupe bottom it is really pretty. I will look for a picture and post it!
I have champagne dresses.. I have six girls and it looked fine on all of them!

I just wore Champagne for my brothers wedding and we all loved the dresses! We are all very different girls. I am tan, my sister has average color skin, and her 2 sisters were both fair skin, and we all looked amazing (if I must say so myself). The flowers looked unbelievable in the pictures. She had the red, yellow, orange flowers just like the ones posted in a previous reply on this thread. Have your girls try on the dresses and see what you all think about them?

I really like the champagne color, but whether or not it will look washed out in pics depends on the BM's skin tones.
