Chandlers Candles

In response to someone else praising their product....I ordered 4 sample votives because I was considering them as favors for my sister's shower. It was an investment that cost less than $20 (3.50 ea + shipping) and was well worth it!

They're great! Came personalized, wrapped in clear paper w/an organza ribbon. It took about 2 weeks to get here and was shipped via USPS.

So comforting to see the final product before placing the big order. I picked 4 different ones to get an idea...glad I did b/c the one that I thought I'd love didn't look so great in person. And the one that I love, I wasn't impressed w/the web image . Go figure!

The candles are white...unscented. The dried flowers & pearls they attach are what make the candle special.

:) As far as a song, I am picking an Italian Song (anyone Italian might know "Ti Sposero Perche" -its a beautiful song that says "I'll marry you because"...and its a huge favorite...) and the 2nd song i'm letting him pick...(he's not ITalian so its bad enough that he has to dance to something he doesnt understand ! LOL )

Mind if I ask which one it was that you liked and which one you didn't like? Thanks!

If it's as successful as those in the past, I'd come to a Sunday brunch get-together if anyone's interested for a second get together. LI or Manhattan. I'm up in Boston and can't quite make it to the after-work events!

1. cake (ordered last week!) 2. tuxes (scheduled to go with fiance tomorrow night) 3. registering (almost done!) 4. rings (still need to pick them out and haven them engraved) 5. sending out invites (next week!!!) 6. finding undergarments and shoes for my first fitting next week 7. picking out favors 8. thinking about seating charts 9. scheduling appointments for hair and makeup trials 10. having lots of fun with my fiance and NOT stressing about the planning!!!!

I liked the hydranga (sp?) w/pearls....loved it, actually. Was disappointed w/the roses and pearls. They protruded from the candle and I thought it looked awkward on the smaller votive. Might look nice on a larger one though.

The seashell was cute but there were only 2 so it looked sparce...and the pearls blended too much w/the white candle and wasn't enough contrast for my liking.

I do suggest ordering a few you think you're interested in and seeing them for yourself though. Good luck!
