Change of heart on wedding band *edited with pics*
So FH and I went shopping for wedding bands at Gennaros and we put one on hold for him and to I was deciding between for me. When we walked out of the store, FH said he didn't really like his and he wanted to look elsewhere. Fine. A few days later I decided on mine and made a deposit.
We went to Na Hoku in the mall and FH found a band hat he loved that's plain on the outside and has a maile leaf design on inside. I love it to and the story behind it. Then I went home and found a woman's band on their website with diamonds like the one I have a deposit in but it also has the maile leave design like my FH's.
I love the story behind the rings and would love for our bands to match.
My question is, will the other store let me use my deposit as credit for something else if I decide on the Na Hoku ring???? What do you think?

your best bet would be to ask. They might say no, or that the other piece of jewelry needs to be the same price as the ring is. If they are nice, they might give your money back or let you purchase a piece of jewelry for the price of the deposit. was there other jewelry that you were looking to buy?

Yes, I have already purchased the BM jewelry from them and I ordered the MOH (i have two) jewelry but haven't paid for it yet and was also going to get my mom something. So hopefully they will at least give me store credit. I'm going to call them today. I reaaallly hope they don't give me a hard time!!

with everything you have ordered and all the stuff you plan on getting, i would be shocked if they didn't let you use that money toward another purchase. It sounds like they risk losing a lot more money then the cost of the ring if you walk. Be confident, it will work out! PS the rings you picked look lovely!

What's the story behind the rings? I'm curious!
All you can do is ask if you can get store credit for your deposit instead and pay off the other stuff you're buying there. Its not like they ordered a custom ring anyways.

The design on the inside of the groom's band and the side of the bride is the Maile leaf, which stands for 'love, honor and respect' and is tradionally worn as lei's for weddings in Hawaii!
We especially like it because the Hawaiian background reminds us of our favorite Disney World hotel, the Polynesian. (I know we are dorks! )

I like that! Its so cool to have something hidden inside! Can you get it engraved with your date and initials or anything?
