I was originally an 08'er and we just found out some news...Im pregnant! soooo the wedding is now moved up to this August..2 choices Thurs before Labor day ..august 30th..7-12 Monday..Labor day 4-9 .. Thurs Im worried about that people will feel that they have to take off too much of work and Mon im worried about that people will be away and have to go to work the next day..its been crazy..let me know what you girls think..thanks!

THURSDAY!!!!
I am getting married that day (8/30/07)...people love the idea of starting the holiday weekend off with a 'bang.' Plus for most, it is an excuse to extend the already long weekend.

first congratulations that is amazing news! my best friend got married on the thursday before memorial day which is similar and it was perfect- I did go to work friday and was exhausted but it was only one day so not so bad.

thanks girls for the responses!! That was my first choice (thurs)and all of my vendors were available..THANK GOD! ..so ill stick with it now :)..Its been such a life changing week for me..cant wait unitl the day..a little changes with the no drinking hard partying stuff...but it is what it is! my FH has been so supportive and our famiies as well ..I just have to let it soak in a little more i think!...My FH came home with a pacifier yesterday and hung it on the door..hes like i wanted to be the first person to buy my child a gift..LoL.. but thanks again girls.. I will stay with Thurs and off to book flowers today! I still have limos...invitations...favors.. hair make up trials..i wanted to book royal brass.. my moms dresss...the tuxedos..just got bridesmaid dresses done yesterday...phew!

I think Thursday will work much better for people. They may be taking time off already for that week, so they can fit you right into their plans.
