Changing BM flowers... I think (with pics & Q's)!

Well with less than 5 weeks to go why not make myself (and my florist) crazy!

My bouquet is a mix of peonies, callas and orchids and I want the BM's to have 1 type of flower in their bouquets. I originally wanted my BM's to carry pale pink mini callas, but now i'm leaning more towards pink peonies.

I was off on Friday and was playing around with photoshop (these are the BM dresses):

Original idea: callas
Girls w/ Callas

New idea: peonies
Girls w/ peonies (will be lighter pinks)

Need opinions! Should I stick w/ the callas or go with the peonies?

I love the way the calla lillies look. Beautiful!

My vote is for the callas too - they're subtle, clean and beautiful.

Thanks girls!! Wow it seems most like the callas... this was my first choice. I guess i'll wait to see what my florist says too. I really love both flowers.

I agree with the clean lines of the dress and the callas matching better though.

CJStein... your girls bouquets with peonies were gorgeous! How'd they hold up?

Hey there...the girls peonies in their bouquets held up fine all night long. By the next day, they were drooping. But, we had them in our CP's and they lasted a few days after, they just need water.

I agree that the callas tend to have a sleeker look with the dresses, but honestly, I think that the second picture POPS really well...I would go for it and keep the darker pink flowers....it has light and dark and that would look really great. (IMO)

I happen to like the peonies and the pink will stand out better in the pictures!

I was thinking that but I kinda want them to have 1 type of flower since my bouquet will be a mix.

Both options are very pretty, but in your pictures it seems like the peony bouquets 'pop' more against the dresses. As much as I love callas, I think I'm leaning toward the peonies in this case. Whatever you decide upon will be beautiful, though!

Thanks again for all your opinions! I really need to see them in person I guess to make a decision. Hopefully my florist can give me some insight too.
