Changing jobs again!!! Ahhh!!!
Let's just say I was in way over my head with the NYC job.
I felt like an idiot while training, and that is WHEN the guy trains me!! He is so busy with taking care of his personal crap all day (including checking his fantasy football), that he rarely shows me anything!! I have to tell him to show me!! He has been coming in late and leaving early, basically leaving me there not knowing what to do. I was struggling on Friday and instead of helping me out, the guy just walked away from me!!! Granted, I got the job done, but I didn't want to assume anything in the beginning!! There was also almost an entire day where he fought with the copier!!! He knows that once he leaves, there is no one else that can help me because only he knows his job. By Friday I was ready to just lose it. Plus did you ever hear about how you can tell how a company treats its employees by looking at the equipment and bathroom? The equipment is old beyond belief.
I got another offer closer to home for even more money, and of course FH decided to tell me that he hates getting up early to drive me to the train. That, and I realized that I was so exhausted from getting up early that on Friday I came home and passed out.
I got this 3rd offer on Friday, and while it may be screwed up of me to do, I'm taking it. I already see myself losing my head at the NYC job. Not worth it in my opinion.
Shockingly enough, my old boss actually was nice enough to pay me for the entire week last week, which I was not expecting him to do. I guess he felt guilty about the way he let me go!!!
So thanks, ladies for all of the support!! I know everything happens for a reason and this was definitiely it. Never before did I get 3 offers in one week, but I guess the Lord works in strange ways.....
