Changing my Theme....(Long)

So I really was so into doing a fall theme....But i had so many ideas and I just didn't know where to start.....I have now thought of an NYC theme and Since we are getting married 3 days after 9/11..I thought of some ideas and just wondering if I can have some input.....

Favors - Donation toTuesdays Child With that we will place a post card of the WTC or NYC Skyline for each place setting (On the back personally write a thank you and why we are donating to them)

Table Numbers - I wanted to use pictures on NYC then and Now ( I can hopefully buy a book or something)

Place Cards (I have no idea)

Please feed me your ideas and opinions.....It is much needed and appreicated!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't even SUGGEST to people you're doing a NYC theme becaues your wedding is three days after September 11th, that puts a very depressing air to the wedding (which you want to be happy!!!!). The NYC theme is cool, but connect it as little as you can to September 11th!

Everyone has an opinion..... Allready have the saved the dates with the Empire State building....

Please don't think I don't think the NYC theme isn't a good idea, it sounds really cool. I was just trying to express a concern as to making it to remember something so terrible in our recent history. I think if there is no expressed connection that people will see it as a really cool and fun theme. I'm sorry if I offended you.
