Changing out of wedding dress

Changing out of wedding dress

Ok, I know this is a stupid question but are you all leaving the reception hall in your dress to go to the hotel? We do not have limos since the reception and cermony are both at the same place. We are not sure whether we are going back to our home to stay the night of the wedding or to a hotel. We are not leaving on our honeymoon right away. Would you leave in your wedding dress and walk into a hotel at 2 in the morning on a sat night or change before you go?? I know, this is a strange question!!!!

I want to stay in my dress, but we are going straight into NYC after the wedding and staying three nights so I will change after the reception.

Staying in the dress. I've seen many brides at hotels (Garden City hotel, Marriott etc) in their dresses at the end of the night. Keep it on and enjoy it for as long as you can!!!!!!!!

I wore mine back to the hotel and partying in the bar until 3am! It didn't come off until I was back in the room for the night! I wanted to put it back on the next day!

I am planning on wearing mine back to the hotel and then to the bar after! I think I might bring it on the honeymoon if I can fit it in my suitcase!!

I wore mine to the hotel also. We took my FIL's car to the hotel since we didn't have a limo either to come pick us up. It was fun to check in and have everyone say congratulations. Plus people shouted to us and waved as we drove there, it was lots of fun.

My reception is over at 5:30, and we're going to the hotel right afterwards, I may just bounce around in it all day and night !!!

I would absolutely leave it on! It is a very special moment when he help you with the zipper or buttons to take it off, very romantic. (after he is done taking out all your hair pins, lol). I went out to a bar afterwards in my dress, then back to the hotel in it!

I wore mine to the hotel. It was fun, everyone wants to see a bride. I hadn't given it a thought before the day but Im glad I left it on.

Leave it on and let your hubby have fun taking it off of you!! It will most likely take a long time and build up the intimate moment!
