I am not changing shoes..just choosing ones that are reasonable for me. I wear tiny heels or flats to work and wear the high ones for special occasions. I have a wide foot, so those high ones hurt. If I go over 2' on my bridal shoe I'll be shocked. FH loves that I'm 4'11' and I don't mind that in pics I'll be that much shorter than him. We are known for our contrast in short and tall, so why change that for our big day?

most people go shoeless from what i have seen at weddings and yes their dress drags all over the place but at that point of time you typically do not care. pics are taken the moment is preserved so why be so scared? I probably go shoeless or wear comfty shoes by the end of the evening.

i am trying to keep my heel height to 2- 2.5 inches. then i will change into ballet type slippers also. i might change for the garter toss. but if my dress drags at the end of the night, i might not be too concerned.

yeah at the fitting you are supposed to wear your shoes so they can alter it to the length in your shoes so it will drag.

right, so i think its silly to get flats and wind up dragging my dress on the floor - i guess i'll just wear my heels all night

Im wearing flats for the ceremony and reception. I am the clutziest person you will ever meet and if i wear heels i usually fall down, so i dont want that to happen on my big day so its flats for this girl!!

I need to find comfy heels because I plan on wearing them all day for the exact reason posted - my dress will drag on the floor if I change shoes.

I'm hoping to get a pair of these in addition to my heels...just in case I need to change my shoes. I want the highest heels I can find. I love shoes...

I really want to... I can only have a very small heel for the ceremony anyways since FH is short too and if I go too tall I might be taller than him! So I think if I go with a small heel, then I can change into ballet flats at the reception and be ok!

Im keeping the samw shoes, I will try to buy them with a decent size heel and comfy so I wont suffer all night.

I got my shoes too....
I am not sure if I plan to change shoes. FH is tall so I could get away with it. My shoes are comfy, but I may have flats like little slippers as a stand by...
These are my shoes...
