changing shoes???

a lot of girls are talking about changing their showes and putting on flats at the reception

wont this make your dress too long?
i have pretty high heels and thats what i will wear when i go for my fitting so im worried that if i get ballet flats, my dress will be too long

???

I would think the same..i was planning on wearing flats all day or a very low heal, and change for the garter toss only

I thought about that also....that you would drag your dress...

i am going to look for kitten heels so i can wear them for most of the night at least

I'm hoping to get a pair of these in addition to my heels...just in case I need to change my shoes. I want the highest heels I can find. I love shoes...

Re: changing shoes???

i was thinking about doing it especially since i'm notorious for losing my shoes at weddings... but i dont want my gown to drag.... although i'll only be wearing it the one night so i'm not sure if i really care.

also... i met get the gown fitted for the flats and then have my shoes pickaboo during the ceremony. especially since i bought a pair of knee high paten leather go go boots to wear under my gown.

Re: changing shoes???

yeah at the fitting you are supposed to wear your shoes so they can alter it to the length in your shoes so it will drag.

right, so i think its silly to get flats and wind up dragging my dress on the floor - i guess i'll just wear my heels all night

Re: changing shoes???

I am going to try and keep my shoes on all night because I am kindof short. I will probably 'attempt' to find a comfortable pair of sandals...
