Changing Shoes
I've seen a lot of posts about where people are getting their shoes from, which is super helpful because I am at a loss, but I was wondering, how many people are changing from heels to flats, or just going in one direction. I really want to wear heels, but I know that during the reception they won't stay on my feet too long, and if I change into flats my dress will drag on the floor ( I don't want people stepping in it). What's everyone doing?

I bought heels and hope to wear them all night but I did also purchase a pair of flats too just incase. So what if my dress drags on the floor I can't stress out about that as I want to have fun and be comfortable

I'm wearing flats the whole night. I want to be comfortable and I want my dress to be hemmed to the right length. I've seen brides do pictures with pretty heels (you know the kind with the ring or sitting down and lifting the skirt) and then just wear flats lol. For me I just want to make sure I have a great time and that's more important too me then shoes that no one even sees lol

I want to be in heels all night but might purchase a pair of wedge flip flops that would be the same heel height as my shoes

be careful if you do this because my friend fell at her wedding because her dress dragged.. If you plan to switch to flats, your heels shouldn't really be higher than like 2 in.. the dress gets altered to your heels, not the flats

Exactly this! I want to be able to be comfortable all night! I'm planning on wearing flats and possibly changing into green converse since my last name will be 'Green' :)

I plan on wearing heels for the ceremony and converse for the reception. Im looking for 2-2.5' heels so there isn't much of a difference.

I am wearing sandals. I'm not a heel girl, I only wear them to other peoples' weddings, funerals, and job interviews. I would wear sandals literally every day of the year if I could. I'm also already 3/4 of an inch taller than FH, so I don't want to be towering over him.I am considering borrowing pretty shoes from a friend for those 'ringon the heel of the shoe' pics, if I do decide those are pics I want.

I wore heels for my ceremony and my pics. My moh gifted me a sparkly blue pair of sperrys and that's what I changed into for the reception. I didn't have any issues with anyone stepping on my dress. Well except for my dad. But that's a different story lmao!

This! Having my dress hemmed to my flats- walking down the aisle with them and wearing them during reception, but taking pictures with both :)

Sounds good! Thanks everyone!!! I was thinking low heels and changing into wedges that are about the same height. I love heels, I just never wear them.

I wore heels all night. Just try to find a comfy, not too high heel.

I have a low wedge, and will probably change to sneakers or flip flops. Will bring both when I go for my 1st fitting and decide there.Welcome New Vendors
