Ok, so, to accomodate a rather large increase of ppl we have to change our wedding date. I have two dates in mind. December 19 and December 27. If you had to change, which one would you pick?

i think the 27th just because of christmas....everyone is stressed and just tired of shopping and it MADNESS everywhere on the roads stores malls....but after its relaxing! so ..you'd rather have relaxed ppl...than stressed out..hehe

I like the 'sound' of 12/19/08 better, and thought it might be nice to separate it from Xmas/etc but I looked on the calendar and saw the 19th was on a Friday and the 27th on a Saturday. I think many people would find it hard to go to a Friday wedding and might miss your ceremony.

the 19th might be far enough before christmas, but i think the 27th might be best because its a saturday, and christmas is over at that point!

Do you have OOT guests? If so if they plan on flying in after christmas that might be hectic. I've flown the day after christmas and it was a nightmare. If that's not an issue I would say the 27th. You can enjoy christmas then have your wedding at basically start the new year as a married couple.

id pick the 27th because if you have OOT guests, i doubt theyre going to be able to make it up the weekend before christmas. people get hectic that time of year and theyre holiday parties like crazy. people also really dont like to spend money before christmas. after the holidays theyll be so reliezed that its all over and believe me, they will be READY to party then.

I would go with the 27th, this way its after the whole holiday madness and before the new year
