changing the wedding plans

Help me....My FH mom is not healthy and wants us to move our wedding up from 2008 to 2007. I am thinking of just having a nice backyard ceremony and reception. (this is both of ours 2nd marriage).I need some suggestions if anyone has any. for example ...a good caterer, tents, are djs ok ? And most of all what to wear??????????
Thanks.

Elegant eatery just did a friends of mine and they were able to work with their budget. As far as tents I would look in the yellow pages and get estimates. You can always dress it up with toule and make it look really nice!

I would wear a simple dress maybe ivory or off white.

Re: changing the wedding plans

We were going to do that, but my FH is the only son, and the backyard is not big enough for how many people we wanted to invite...but I have seen gorgeous pics of tent weddings, and they even have floortiles they can put down for the dance floor.

As far as what to wear if you still wanted to buy a wedding gown, David's bridal has beautiful ones for cheap. My sis got hers from there, and it was the one I had picked in a book that I wanted ..it was pretty cheap too

Good Luck, and for your mother

My parents made us change our date, but unfortunately in the end it was for the better. (Made us wait longer)

I don't know if you read New York Wedding mag. but they just had a wedding featured in the winter issue of a couple who had such a beautiful wedding in the backyard. It was absolutly beautiful!! We're now consdering this option.

Re: changing the wedding plans

My fh owns a tent rental company - rents tents, tables, chairs, dancefloor, bar, etc

fm me if you want a ballpark idea on pricing - just tell me how many people you think you would have......
