Changing Your Address

Changing Your Address

How do I go about doing this on my license?

I've already contacted the post office to have my mail forwarded, contacted both my banks, my credit cards, my cable, my cell phone co, my office and my car insurance co.

I still have to deal with my health insurance.

Am I forgetting anything?

Re: Changing your Address

I just did it for my license. You can call them!
It took a while to get through, but when I did, it was quick there is also a form on the DMV site you can fill out & mail in.

You don't;have to order a new license, that can just keep your info on file, but if you do, obviously there is a fee.
I didn't order one, b/c I am going to change my name too. ( that you have to do in person)

Only if you are changing your name or lost your licence & don't have the#.
See link above. I just did it over the phone last week.

oh, and Liz, if you have a car in your name, you have to do the registration too.

Thank you! Maybe I'll just wait until we're married to order a new license, but I'll change the info now. Leave it to the f***ing DMV to make it difficult!

did you change your name though? You woudl have had to stand on lienfor that anyway. One of my freinds doesn't beleive me that you cando it over the phone & hasn't changed his adress since he moved over a year ago.

Magazine address chages take a while for the company to do.

They will be forwarded by the post offic e, but not for a long time.
DH got his Maxim forwarded once, but I guess his address change never went through, becuase he didn't get last months.
