Changing your name...
This sounds like it's going to be a real pain in the a$$.
I have the DMV papers, got those when we got the marriage license at town hall. I have credit cards, banks, my job, and items on auto pay with the credit cards (i.e. my gym membership) that all have to be changed. What a pain! Is there any easy way? My accountant told me not to change it with SS until the end of the year, which means also not changing it with work or the bank my check is deposited in either. Not sure exactly how to do this, guess I have to cough up $30 for the name change kit on wedding channel.
DH was cute on the HM. I had to sign a credit card receipt so I signed with my maiden name as is on the card itself. He said 'I thought you were using my last name'. I was like 'yeah, but AMEX may not appreciate that until I change it on the card darling'.
