Charcoal Gray Tuxedo

Hi ladies,

Does anyone happen to know or have seen a charcoal gray tux in your searches? FH has his heart set on this color and we cannot seem to find anyone who has it to rent. Only to buy at Men's Warehouse. It took me all of an hour to find my dress and I am on about 15 hours of searching for this bleeppppin Tux lol

Oh boy! We were thinking of doing charcoal tuxes but if it's going to be a hassle, I don't think I'll even bother looking. If my FH wants it, he can do the research. We plan on starting to look in the coming week or two so I'll let you know what we end up doing

A friend of mine had light gray tuxes in her wedding. They rented them from The Wedding Center in Commack. But that place has some sketch-ballz reviews so I'd exhaust all other options first.

ETA: Try Karako! They rent tuxes and had a huge book of them when I was there buying suits for FH.

It's been a while and I know u said yiu went to mens warehouse but from what I remember we loved a Vera wang tuxedo in charcoal gray and couldn't do it cuz we needed black..opposite problem lol

Tuxedo World on Staten Island have them and they are AMAZING to work with. They also specialize in working with out of town weddings.

We are going with grey also. FH has gone to Rico's in Center Moriches for tuxes for other weddings he has been in so he knew right away we wanted to go there and they had a great selection of grays. =)

Is it hard to find because it is a tux? We want to go with charcoal grey suits. I wonder if that will make a difference.

This is the Vera Wang dark gray tux from Men's Warehouse that we booked. We were not told that our groomsmen had to purchase these. They are approximately $220 to rent (I don't remember the exact price.)
How much were they charging you to purchase?

We're doing bow tie and suspenders too! Definitely more of a real tux look than a suit though!

The same for us. Our guys are renting and don't have to buy it.

Love this tux and we looked at it but he wants a gray that is closer to black with a black lapel. The one I posted up top is Men's Warehouse for purchase @799 Ay ya ya! I just feel bad because he has literally asked for nothing this entire engagement and I really would love for him to get what he wants. This is the problem with looking at things online, sometimes the exact match is so hard to find. (I actually cant believe I am having this conversation over a tux. lol)

First we were TC brides now our men are twins!!! hahaha...my fiance's groomsmen are doing charcoal tuxedos and bow ties to match the spice wine bridesmaid dresses! Here's a pic...
They got them at Gino's Tuxedos in Farmingdale! Excellent service!
