Charm Bracelets

Hi Girls, I was in Boston for New Years and it seems Pandora Charm Bracelets are THE thing. I really like them, but to buy the bracelet and THEN all the charms to fill it.. its so expensive! Any ideas for something similar? I really liked the look of the bracelet and how it can be so personalized.. but its so easy to exceed $500 on something like this....

you can just buy the bracelet and one or 2 charms to start someone off..... thats what my sister gave me for xmas, with like 4 charms, i love pandora bracelet theyre sooo cute

charm brecelets (at least nice ones) are usually a little pricey..... a few others ive seen that i liked

eta: pandora ones seem to be the least cumbersome though, like they dont really hang so youre not banging it around all the time

I just got a charm bracelet from my fiancee for Christmas. It's meant for little girls, but I fell in love with it after he had picked it out for our 4 year old niece. There's tons of different charms (including an Iphone!), and it's a little more cutesy than the pandora ones. The charms are enamel and not plastic, so they don't look cheap.

Pandora is expensive but they have been around for a while so you don't have to be worried about it being a too trendy type of gift and the design is really useful because they don't bang around. I say, give the bracelet with one charm for each girl that makes you think of them and that way you can start off the bracelet for them. You don't have to give a charm bracelet with all charms on it, the fun part is getting charms for different occasions for your bracelet over time.

Thanks Girls.. actually I want it for myself, ha ha. The FH asked if I'd like one for V-Day. I just feel like I want to make a pretty pattern and need some ideas/pictures to look at!

i love pandora! I just got a bracelet for christmas with a few charms. I have heard of people giving these as gifts for BP - they got the bracelet and 1 charm - you can get everyone the same charm or each person their own to individualize.
