Anyone have a recommendation for a good charter bus company that is not ridiculously priced? Looking for a 45-person bus.

We found all of them to be SO overpriced. We decided to go with smaller vans that can make rotating trips. It is costing us about 400 for the smaller trips back and forth vs. 1000 for the charter bus all night. We have about 60 out of town guests that we have to shuttle.

Between what times did they consider to be all night? How many passengers fit on the bus?

what company? I couldn't find any companies around this price! We've decided to go with a school bus (although we haven't booked yet) but that was the cheapest option.

I was thinking the same! I didn't know if I was crazy, but to me, 1k doesn't seem like a high quote for an all day charter. I've been getting quotes of 2-3k for like eight hours.

legend limos has a 50 person motor coach...if you book a package they will likely discount the price

I got a school bus. For a 15-minute ride it's fine. for a long trip I wouldn't recommend one.
Plus, school buses are a lot more relaxed with the rules. Most charters have clauses about not food or drink, and how they will not let anyone visibly intoxicated on the bus. School buses don't care - their only rule is no alcohol

HOw much was a school bus to rent for the night? Are they OK with making multiple trips? We have blocks at East Wind (my reception) but they is pretty much full so the overflow is at the Hilton Garden Inn who will only do one shuttle there and one shuttle back (of only 14 people, no matter how many book). I am so jealous of people who have blocks that include multiple trips!!! FH and I got into an argument bc first we agreed that we would do a shuttle if 10 rooms were booked at the other hotel but now that one person booked he is insistent on booking a shuttle. I'm freaking out bc what if only 5 rooms are booked? I feel like that's a chunk out of our budget that honestly if you go to a lot of other weddings, isn't included. Maybe I am being cheap, IDK, but I am def looking for the cheapest shuttle option!!! Sorry for the rant!

It's $350 for 4 hrs.. you have to pay that $350 as a minimum. They start the clock when they pick the bus up from the yard and stop it when it gets back to the yard. They will break up that 4 hours too; (This was First Student).. She had originally told me the price may go up some in July so just call and ask for the info :) They told me they wouldn't book until 6-8 weeks in advance..

Thank you so much for the info. First Student is right down the block from me so I will def look into it. $350 isn't bad knowing they will make continuous loops. I couldn't fathom $350 for a total of a 10 mile run!
