Charting ??s

I am intrigued by this charting thing, so I decided to bite and wanted to check out that site webmd.com, now the question.. how do I know whether I'm on a 28 day or 30 cycle?

Should I know this?

you may have a 24 or 25 day cycle
I dont chart but figure out what days I ovulate

for three months right down the start date of your period
and then count the number of days till your next one, if all three are different you can average the three numbers together

If you really want to get specific about things, get the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It will teach you all about how to take your temperature in the morning, and how to observe your physical changes to determine when you are fertile, exactly when you ovulated, and when you will have your next cycle.

They even have computer software to go with the book that charts your temps and stuff! It's pretty amazing.

Count from the first day you get your period till the first day of the next month and so on

I am really stupid.. If I get my . roughly the 30th of every month, what cycle am I on?

probably your a 30 but since everymonth has a different number of days, you could be a 28 or 31
try it for three months and see
do something like this

Period start date
Sept 30
October 28
November 27

then count from sept 30 till october 28
and see what number you get and do the same for the rest

It does your last 3 periods it is more accurate and I used it for Damien and we got preggo the first try.

thats what I started to do...just a dot on the calendar next to my desk...


I also recommend Taking Charge of Your Fertility...we have been using it as BC right now (prepared that if it doesn't work... ) but its really interesting learning how your body works...{{prob TMI...but discharge totally makes sense now}}

I am hardly ever the same cycle each month, one month i am 21 days other months i am 26 days... A friend of mine has the same problem too one month she is 28 then the next she is 41

I read TTC but i could not really understand any of it..

My parents used the chart as BC back in the day when the Catholic Church told them they would go to hell in a handbasket if they used any other form of BC. According to her doctor, my mom was doing everything correctly.

I heard the method is not full proof! LOL
