My temps so far this month have been around 97.2-97.6 up and down. It's only been 9 days for this cycle. This morning's temp was 96.6??? Why was it so low? On my chart it looks funny since it dipped really far. The last time I charted my temps didn't drop so dramatically. Any ideas? Thanks!

There is no way to pinpoint why temps can fluxuate so much. Just the other day I dropped down from 98.4 to 97.6 and this was post O...this morning I woke up and it was back to 98.2..I read somewhere that the sucha huge difference can be attributed to tossing and turning, waking up at some point in the night or even just sleeping with your mouth open more than usual. Did your temps go back up this morning?

Yes... they did go back up. The only thing I could think of was that it was the first real cold night, and it was just a little cool in the house. Nothing major though. I had the heat on. I did however have the heat up a little more last night since it was in the teens with the wind chill. Maybe that's why?
