Are there any other Chateau Briand 2012 Brides out there, willing to discuss decoration ideas or past chateau briand brides who can shed some light on who to use as a bridal attendant or Maitre'd?

I'm in the Davinci Room.. How about you? . I've decided to have the white birch trees with crystals drapped from them. And I am def going to have the florist put up tulle on the ceiling with the lights because all of the photos of previous brides look beautiful!

I'm also in the Davinci Room!!! That will look beautiful..I would die to get the drapes around the whole room, BUT my banquet manager politely informed me that will cost around 20-30 thousand dollars ..have you decided where you will be sitting yet? or where you'll have the dj?

Congrats Rosalind...It's coming down to the wire! Yikes 8 weeks away! You def have to let us know how your wedding goes!
TandZLove- I can't believe they told you it was $20-30,000! That is ridiculous. I haven't contacted any florists yet but I will let you know when I do and the ACTUAL cost it will run.

Drapes would look beautiful in the whole room! 20-30k though is insane!
You should def. check with your BM before you book anything because I am in the normandy, and while I was asking her about the tulle ceiling (which i LOVE), Mr. Scotto himself was passing by and we spoke, he mentioned that there will be some renovations going on by 2012 and more tulle might even be added on. I know its not the same room but maybe there will be possible renovations in your room too which can save you thousands!! :)

anytime!!! so far they say the tulle and 99.9% new carpeting for my room

Last week Victoria told me my room is getting the new gold chairs.
FH and I would be getting the Normandy room and I didn't like the white covered chairs that were in there so I asked her and she told me. I'm also wondering if the Normandy room would look good w/ round tables instead of those oval ones....what do you guys think?

I think Victoria also said that eventually all the rooms will have uplighting so that's another plus :)
We also asked about an after party and Victoria couldn't tell us much but she said something is in the works. FH wants to continue the party either @ CB or at the hotel so I'm excited to see what new things are coming to CB.

so normandy is getting the new chairs with the gold backs?
i didnt hear about that yet...do you know as of when that will begin? as far as i know they will have new carpeting, and more tulle on the ceiling in time for 2012..and im not sure about the round tables i think they normally use the longer oval tables.

Yes, Victoria told me last week that the Normandy room will be getting new chairs. I personally HATE those white covers so I made sure to ask her if I could get the other gold chairs and she said by the time I get married that room will already have it's new chairs.
