Re: Chateau Briand
It is really nice but it is owned by the Scotto Brothers so it is about $125 pp.

Re: Chateau Briand
I was quoted much lower than $125 pp there. They were offering us b/w $65 and $85... we could add or delete things to fenagle the price. yes, it was their two star menu and not the three star, but it was MORE than enough food. We asked for dates in November, December and February. I have been weddings there before... nice place, good food. you are not the only wedding though and it gets very busy, but overall I would say a great place.

Re: Chateau Briand
Cb was one of my top choices.... in the end I chose not to go with them b/c I felt that the place was too dark and I had concerns about my pics(which are very important to me) coming out dark.Other than that you can not go wrong with Cb- nice place- we were able to sample their desserts.... yummy.... I keep telling ENIFT (Eliana a CB bride) to try their cheese cake...... did i say yummy already!!!!!

You're right... most large catering halls do have more than one wedding at a time... like Russo's, Jericho Terrace, etc. etc. etc. because they have ample space and several different size rooms. The night I went to a wedding at Chateau Briand (a Fri. in November) there was 2 weddings and a Sweet 16)....let's just say the Sweet 16 added an itneresting element!
There are many places that only do one wedding at a time, but they are typically smaller...and often cheaper because they do not have the overhead that the larger halls have to meet. I am having mine at a place that only does one wedding at a time and I am really happy with my choice. Onc eyou start visiting places , you will find what is right for you regardless of how many weddings happen at once.
GOOD LUCK!

Re: Chateau Briand
I have been there a good 10 times for weddings and other events. It is a beautiful place, but there is more then 1 affair there at a time and that has to be something that does not bother you.The food is good and the location is defiantly centrally located for guests.
I would make an appointment and go see the place, you can't go wrong either way.

I also am getting married there and not even touching $125 per person. It depends on your date though be flexible if you want a good deal. If you plan on September that is still their busy wedding season. We are getting married a friday in April

Re: Chateau Briand
Sorry to crash, but I noticed this thread and thought I'd pipe up.I had my wedding at the Chateau Briand - it was about half that price (granted, Sunday afternoon in August a year and a half ago). It was Beautiful, the staff did a great job, and I have few complaints. I would definitely recommend CB to anyone who asked.

my friend is having her wedding there this September. I went there for a band showcase. I believe they have an indoor studio to take pictures. That is one pro for this catering hall!!!
