Chateau Briand

Hey everybody!

FH and I have been looking at some halls during the past few weeks and we have two that we can't really decide on.
One of them is Chateau Briand. I did a search for it on here, but couldn't find too much info. I spoke to one friend who has been there and loved it, but we are just looking for some more input. I just wanted to know if any of you girls been there for a party and how it went.

Thanks ladies!!!

I went there for an office event . The food was great ! The service was great as well. The only thing I did not like was there was 2 parties going on at once so wating for the valet service took longer than normal.
The dance floor was also on the small side.
Congrats and Happy looking !!!!

I looked there and considered it. It is very modern, art decoy looking. Also the bm was very overbearing and annoying.

I went to a wedding there, I have nothing to say about it so 'no news is good news'. I know I had a good time, nothing to complain about. I do remember when we were leaving though (DJ was packing up) - one of his lights almost fell on my head, luckily FH saved me. He's my hero.

My firend is getting married there too. I don't think you can go wrong, I haven't heard one bad thing about CB.

The other place is CLM.

Thanks everybody! We really liked both places and they both have their pros and cons, so hopefully, FH and I can come to a decision soon and we can finally have a hall and date set!!!

I was in a wedding in July - the food was great, we had a wonderful time...

the only negative that when they brought in the chocolate fountain, they put it on the dance floor so you had to stop dancing - and then when they were wheeling it away it fell of the table (just outside of the room) - but good thing we were done with it!

All in all it was a beautiful place to have a reception - Its very 'Titanic-esque'

hmm well then just think of what matters more to you and what you would prefer...Do you want to have a wedding right by the water. Look at who gives you more for your money. Also the size of the room, is CB bigger than CLM room.

I've been to CLm but not chateau briand...Also depens on how many guests you are having...CLM told us the room fits 300 guests, when i went there they were setting up for 180 guests and i honestly couldn't image 300 people fitting in there.
